SCHOOL

Classes are usually given in the morning from 8:00 am until 12:00 noon, and in the afternoon from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. However, we can always tailor the times, structure and location of classes to best suit your needs.

Students with some previous Spanish knowledge are given a placement exam (both written and oral) to determine at what level they should begin classes and also to identify areas of weakness.

The professor and student then work together to design a customized study plan. All classes take place in a relaxed atmosphere with a coffee break after two hours of lessons where students can relax and mingle with other teachers and students.

We are accredited by the Ministry of Education in Ecuador as the Center for Teaching Spanish language as a foreign language. (Centro de Capacitación Ocupacional)

Preparation for the DELE Exam

The majority of the teachers at our spanish school are certified to prepare students to take the DELE exam. The "Instituto Cervantes" only recognizes the D.E.L.E. (Diploma for Spanish as a Foreign Language) as a certificate for foreign students that wish to study in Spanish universities or even work in Spanish speaking countries. This course prepares you to pass the exam.

Learn Spanish On Line

We now offer you the perfect online environment for learning Spanish. (via Skype; Online learning is still under construction.)

Surf & Spanish Lessons:

From beginners to advanced surfers, all agree that Montañita has the best waves in Ecuador and really good overall conditions for surfing and bodysurfing.
The point known as La Punta at Montañita is a right wave, break point wave located one kilometer north from the center of Montañita.

If the conditions are good, with a big north swell, not too much wind, the wave can be 10 feet tall.

For those wishing to enter the sporting world of surfing, we have a program where you can choose any number of lessons you prefer, we recommend a minimum of 5 lessons with two hours each. Only applies for beginners and novices.

The school offers one free surfing lesson for your initial two-week Spanish program (surf boards included).

Please note: all programs are designed on the basis of one-on-one instruction.  This is the best learning mode and ensures the highest level of individual attention for each student. Instruction in small groups is available on request. Please contact us for more information.
